In One-Year we made a huge impact

Jubilee Alternative Micro-Shelter (JAMS) opened on April 18th of 2022, JAMS operated for exactly one year, closing on April 18th of 2023. JAMS was closed because the Jubilee Community building was sold. JAMS was an amazing effort made possible because of a lot of big-hearted folks.

We are not currently sheltering like we did at Jubilee. Beds and other sheltering supplies are being kept at a local storage facility, thanks to Lark Storage! As of today, we have not yet made the decision whether to shelter this coming winter. For now, we are focused on longer term housing solutions similar to Sims Cottage, our West Asheville rental home.
